I’m not getting the magic-link email
Check your spam folder first. If it’s missing, request another link from /sign-in — they’re rate-limited to 3 per hour. Still nothing? Email hello@kinlyhq.com and we’ll diagnose the delivery.
My credit-card statement isn’t parsing correctly
Forward the PDF (without your bank’s landing-page form, just the statement itself) to your household inbox alias. Most parsing issues come from scanned-image statements — our parser handles text-based PDFs reliably; image PDFs vary by quality.
How do I invite my spouse?
Settings → Household → Invite your spouse. They’ll receive a one-time link valid for 7 days.
How do I make a transaction private?
On the transaction edit screen, switch the Visibility selector from “Shared with household” to “Private to me”. Your spouse will not see this row anywhere — not on the dashboard, not in chat, not in the daily brief.
Can I export my data?
Yes — Settings → Privacy → Export. You get a ZIP with JSON for every table you own and a folder of every blob (receipts, statements, forwarded emails). PIPEDA-mandated; available within 30 days of request.
How do I cancel?
Settings → Subscription → Cancel. You keep access until the end of your billing period. To delete your data entirely, also use Settings → Privacy → Delete account.
