Kinlyfor Canada

Terms of Service

Effective 2026-05-12

The basics

By using Kinly you agree to these terms. Kinly is provided by Kinly Technologies, a company based in Ontario, Canada. The service is available to residents of Canada who are at least 16 years old.

What Kinly is — and isn’t

Kinly is a software tool that helps you track household finances, reconcile statements, and surface tax-sheltered-account opportunities. Kinly is not a financial advisor, accountant, tax preparer, or licensed planner. The advisor brief and chat responses are informational; consult a qualified professional before making significant financial decisions.

Your account

You’re responsible for keeping your sign-in email secure. One household can have up to two members in this beta. You can invite and remove your spouse at any time from Settings → Household.

Subscription, trial, coupons

Kinly is CA$14.99 per month per household. New households get a 14-day free trial — no credit card required at signup. Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled.

Friends-and-family coupon codes apply 100% off in perpetuity. Coupons are non-transferable.

Cancel at any time from Settings → Subscription. You retain access until the end of the current billing period.

What you can’t do

  • Reverse-engineer the service or extract our prompts/agents.
  • Resell access, share your account with non-household members, or use Kinly to provide a service to others.
  • Upload content that isn’t yours (e.g., someone else’s statements without their consent).
  • Use Kinly for any unlawful purpose.

Our limitations

Kinly is provided “as is”. We make best efforts to keep the service available and accurate, but we don’t guarantee uptime, the absence of bugs, or the correctness of any specific advisor recommendation. To the maximum extent allowed by Canadian law, our liability for any claim relating to the service is capped at the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) CA$100.

Termination

You can close your account anytime — see the Privacy Policy for what happens to your data after closure. We may suspend an account that violates these terms or that we reasonably believe is being used fraudulently; we’ll give 14 days’ notice except where doing so creates a security risk.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada. Disputes that can’t be resolved between us will be brought in the courts of Toronto, Ontario.

Changes

We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes are announced 14 days in advance via email and in-app banner. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
